This cooktop is very efficient. It is a bit pricey, however we replaced an 18 year old GE Profile cooktop with this unit. Easy to operate and lights easily. I did have to re-configure the duct work for the downdraft exhaust because the duct that is a part of the unit hangs much lower than the outlet duct which leads to the outside of the house. The transition ducts are to large to fit under the cooktop duct and connect to the exhaust duct in the wall. However the performance far out weighs the exhaust fan and duct issue. I am not a fan of the glass top, it requires cleaning frequently.

I purchased the stove top about 4mo ago and while it cooks great, I've received a cracked grate. I didn't think of it much but figured it it was just damaged in shipping. The other night cooking I looked at mine and it looks like it cracked in the same spot as the damaged shipment. Going to contact the manufacturer and hopefully get it exchanged under warranty.
Great Product but it came with a broken grate.... now i have to search and find the same grate for my stove which makes it a hassel because i am not going to return the whole item for one silly grate....
I have had this cooktop for about a month now. Overall, I like it. It does scratch easily so be careful when cleaning. The middle burner is great to boil water in a hurry. Thats the best part! However the middle burner is difficult to turn on - it doesn't ignite the first 2-3 tries. Usually by the 4th attempt I can get the flame going. Thats the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars!
