First off, i can not describe how frustrating it is to see a brand new glass stove top with cheap paper warning stickers on it that are IMPOSSIBLE to remove without harsh solvents or scratching the glass... after trying very long for 2 hours to remove the glue and paper from the warning stickers using simple green and windex, I scratched the glass... using the supplied cleaning pad. HAD they simply used a better quality sticker, this would have not been a problem. SECOND, the kit did not come with ANY of the electrical connections... seriously for .30cents they cant throw in some wire connectors and the box connector? Second, the hardware to mount the stove to the counter is a cheap simple little piece of metal that is (according to the instructions) SOLD SEPERATLY???? That piece can not be more than $1. And for $1600 maybe I could get a small supply of duct tape for the duct work that needs to be done??? I really wasn't expecting duct tape, but the fact that it was missing all those mounting hardware and caused me an extra trip to the hardware store for them just being cheap to save maybe $3-4 on such an expensive item is very frustrating. Now I have a brand new stove top with scratches in the glass because they wanted to save .00005 cents on a sticker.
Fantastic range top with down draft that replaces the old JenAir. Although I agree that the stickers are next to impossible to remove from the glass top, it is not enough to give it a bad review. The burners heat up instantly like a gas range. The one side also heats in between the two burners so you can put a griddle or large pan on top. Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend!!
We had a similar GE profile cooktop approximately 14 years old that we replaced with this one. It was essentially the same thing but had the stainless steel looking knobs. Overall install was pretty easy to just swap out with the old one. Overall it’s got a more updated look and seems to work more efficiently. Turns on faster and cools down faster.

Piece of garbage. For as much as this thing cost the switches shouldn't break off within 4 months. Had the switchs for the burners replaced twice before the warranty ran out. Unfortunately the switch for the power boil broke again, but will cost as much to fix it as to replace the whole unit with a different product.
