Installed this unit about 15 months ago as a backup for my electric cooktop since electricity has been failing almost weekly in my home. Design is beautiful but fails in some details. First, when trying to use my coffee maker (italian style) it falls thru the top and I had to design some kind of rails to place the greca coffee maker. Second, when trying to turn it on I have to try many times, it will light up when when release the knob it turns off. Third the flame is too high and will not turn much down. Fourth, it leaks gas from below but since I only use it as an emergency kit I cut the gas after every use.
Other then that it has been a lifesaver that everyone in the house can use.
PS my daughter loves making s’mores with it.
Great addition to my new little kitchen! I recently built an 8' x 10' kitchen in the lower level of the home I purchased with my kids. Because the space is so small and I didn't need a full size stove / oven, I opted for just a two burner gas cook top. This had the best reviews so I chose this one. Very glad I did. Excellent quality, works great and I don't have any complaints. I have used it a few times and the flame range is good and the foods I cooked came out perfect. If you are looking for a natural gas two burner cook top, this is a great choice.
I have a 68" kitchen located in my entry hall (not uncommon in Manhattan) and I needed to find an attractive cook-top which didn't take up a lot of counter space as every inch matters. It looks much more high-end than it is.
This cook-top has worked out quite well. I am happy with the ease of installation, and the overall look. The burners are nice and powerful, the back one is great for getting a sizable pot boiling quickly. As is to be expected with any black glass topped stove, every drop of grease shows, but it is easy to wipe up, and the cast iron grate is substantial (yet not too heavy).
My only complaint would be that it is difficult to adjust the flame size. You need a very very tiny long shafted screwdriver to insert into a tiny hole in the valve stem. I do not have one of these tiny screwdrivers, and after searching half a dozen hardware stores, I have given up the search and learned to live with it.
Now, this is a Cooker. Installed well, and works great. Put it in place of an inadequate electric one, and only had to do a little trimming. Mounted easily. I did have to use a compression washer included, on the inlet fitting. Nothing about that in the instructions, that I found.
The stove is pretty and appears solidly made, but that's about it. The temperature control is very limited, the grill has a tendency to want to dump pots off of it if you set them down wrong, and the burners are too close together to use both at once. The customer service is good though. I accidentally ordered the natural gas model when I needed propane, and then had a problem with leaking gas due to an installation error. Both times, Ramblewood was great.
I would not buy it again.

Make sure you install a power outlet to get the lighter working on it, if you don't then you can use a normal lighter. it is a very good product.
Impressive customer service! For the life of me could not figure out how to get this thing to stay lit, but called their 1-888 number and received a very helpful response from a technician. Problem solved, though if the easy fix he talked me through over the phone had not worked, he was prepared to work on a replacement, as well. Much appreciated.
So for future buyers who may run in to this issue: This product includes a sensor that automatically shuts off the gas if it doesn't detect flame. Some other reviewers have stated that this sensor needs to heat up. In my case, the service tech told me that the sensor actually needs to be *touching the flame* - he even suggested very gently bending it with pliers to make sure it was fully in the flame. So just make note as you are setting it up.
Otherwise, an easy installation process, very nice, clean appearance, and seems to kick out enough heat for some basic cooking.
A little pricey, but very well made and slick looking. I dropped this in the top of a wooden sideways, so that when looking at the counter, the burners are left and right, not front and back. All in all, it burns very nicely and looks great.
It has a thermocouple, so you do have to hold down the knobs a little longer than expected... the flame must heat the sensor a little bit to stay lit, but once you understand and get past this, you just hold down the knob a little longer.
As mentioned in another review, the 2 knobs are a little close to the bigger burner, but I haven't had any problems with this yet.
The burners are a little close together, so don't plan on using a skillet on one burner and a pot on the other at the same time.
It came as specified !
