This is my second 12” Induction cooktop. The first one cost me more than double and did not work as good as this one.
The temperature control are great, meaning you can have the perfect temperature anytime.
It looks great. Easy to clean but tendency to have smudges..The heating ranges are adequate.. The controls takes a while to get used to..the heating pods seem to close together so the other pot must be smaller..likewise the controls can be sometimes be hard to get when using a big pot in the front.
This is my second Empave 2 burner induction cooktop. They both broke and will not connect to the pans anymore. Empave said they know what broke but I would have to pay to get it fixed. If you are able to get a hold of anyone from Empava, well you’ve just hit the mother load!!! They will not help, refund, fix and warranty their products at all!! Horrible customer service!!
That being said, I have two, yes 2, 2 burned induction cooktops that I’ll sell for parts!!
I have temporarily put into my rental two countertop burners and they work just fine. Target $20.

Nice and pretty. This cooktop is pretty decent. The boost function works really great when broiling water, but try not to use for cooking food cuz it's hard to control the cooking time when boost is on.

Very easy to wire and install, took me an hour to run the wire, cut the countertop, and make the electric connections.
Looks great and I already cooked pasta and steaks on this cooktop! Excellent value!
