I ordered this cook top because it would fit into the cut out already cut into my granite counter top, the price, and the variety of burner sizes, (two of the burners are duel sized). Now I need to get used to using it! The old cook top with knobs was easier to use, but this totally flat top is nice! It turns on with a very light touch, a burner came on just by wiping over the controls with a tea towel. It came very fast, and was very easy to install , I'm a 68 year old lady and installed it myself. It heats up very fast and cools down slowly. It has a locking feature, and a timer feature to turn off automatically. Only complaint is that it is extremely difficult to wipe off smudges. I have only had it for 2 days, and so far I like it!!.
After one month, I would like to give a warning. Please keep this cooktop with the lock ON! Burners come on FAST with the slightest touch. The touch controls are very sensitive almost to the point of being dangerous. Please take the 3 seconds to use the child lock feature.
I have now had this cook top for 6 months and I hate using it because of the controls! You have to be sooo careful so additional burners don’t come on. I so wish I had gotten the one with knobs! I just pray I don’t burn down the house.
Now I have had this cooktop for almost 11 months and I am almost afraid to use it. The lock feature, at times, is difficult to turn on and then difficult to get it turned off so you can use the stove!!! There has hardly been a time that I have used this stove top, that other burners haven't accidently come on!!!!
Dangerous!!!! Get the one with Knobs.!!!!! The only reason I gave it 2 stars, is because it looks nice.
One year report. I have been in communications with this company regarding my concerns. They have been VERY NICE and answered promptly. They even offered to exchange it for the knob model, but the cut out in my granite is one inch too small. I am still concerned about the safety, but they really tried to make me happy.
Was hesitant because this was under $400.00 when all other at Lowes and Home Depot were 800-1000. This range is awesome! With the "turbo" feature it heats things immediately, even faster than gas. Love this, install took all of 15 mimutes!
It looks good on our countertop. The controls and display are accurate and can be vividly seen. The fact that the stove has a child lock makes it extra safe. So far, I'm loving this stove and it's worth every penny.
The cooktop was defective and I’m asking for a refund. Thank you
I'm very happy with this product The only problem with it its that the touch controls can be turned on with almost anything that touch them. Metal, plastic including vegetables, the lock position can be turned off if you slide a pot on the controls not so safe if you have children

This thing is absolutely amazing. Incredibly easy to install, 30 min tops if you already have the hole cut. Our old one burned out, this one popped right in the old spot. The cord comes ready to be clamped into the plug, about as stupid easy as it gets. The only down side is that it doesn’t come with a plug, but a trip to Lowe’s (Home Depot doesn’t have the exact right one) for a heavy duty plug solves that issue.
The stove itself is a fabulous piece of technology. It heats up instantly and the controls are extremely easy to use. I know some reviews have complained about the controls being over complicated, but I find them very intuitive and easy to use. One of my favorite features is the “Hot Surface” function. Since it’s a black top, you can’t really see if it’s hot or not. The stove will let you know which burner is still hot by flashing an H over the burner control. It will even tell you when the surface gets hot from a pan when you slide it off a burner and on to a cool spot. This stove makes our old stove look like we were just discovering fire, and doing a bad job at that. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this stove. It checks all the right boxes from price to features, you will be happy you did.
I am using this stovetop for 2 month now, during that time it happened 4 times, that the burners were turned on in the middle of the night. I woke up and realized the smell of a burned carton, that was sitting on top. The way the child safety lock works makes no sense at all, actually it doesn’t work at all. The power button can still be turned on while it’s set, and when you turn the power button on the child lock is automatically unlocked. It’s very dangerous, especially if you have cats, the house can easily be set on fire. A second thing I realized is that it seems not very strong, it takes forever to bring a pot of water to boil.
The cooktop arrived quickly, earlier than expected, in perfect condition. The unit was a little smaller than the Jenn Air it replaced but our contractor was able to build up the kitchen counter opening to fit. The control panel is very easy to use. The burners heat up quickly. Ramblewood is prompt to reply to any inquiries. So far we are very happy with the look and functionality of the unit.
Stove seems to work fine, but the digital display is compromised for two of the burners.
The manufacturer contacted me immediately to aid in the exchange of a new unit.
Cooking wise its seems good so far. Glass top seems to scratch unfortunately
