I am an electrician by trade so this unit was very easy to wire up to a 30a 240v breaker with 10aug wire. Remodeled kitchen in new home myself and built concrete countertops. These work awesome with the concrete countertops. Made my hole as big as dimensions, and fits great. Had to shim it a little bit wasn’t hard at all. Love the child lock to save the little ones from getting burnt. Stove works great for a few months now, buttons are easily accessible and work well, and heats up fast. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, I do not think they know what they are doing and probably installed the product wrong! Great value! Update: the ad was removed for a very short period of time only to be replaced with a deep discounted replacement ad...??? It would be interesting to know if any corrections in their printed manual were made.
I have a four wire (black, red, white, and green) 220v plug in my kitchen. This cooktop only comes with three wire (black, white, and green). When I connected up the cooktop based on the color coded wires (black-black, white-white, green-green), the cooktop took a long time (no red radiant coils shown) to bring a kettle of water to boil (~8 minutes). So I knew I must have not wire it correctly. This Ecotouch company should have a better installation instructions. After I re-wired the correct wires (black-black, red-white, green-green), the cooktop immediately showed red radiant coils when turned on and the kettle of water only took less than 2 minutes to boil. Overall, this cooktop does at great job cooking my meals. The only thing I don’t like is that the size doesn’t sit correctly on a 30” opening. It’s an least 1-1/2 inches short!
Big fan of this cooktop so far. Replaced an old glass-ceramic cooktop as the burners were providing inconsistent heat. The installation was not difficult and the instructions were quite clear. The provided cutout board to mark the counter for the adjusted cutout was very helpful. I did have to go to my electrical panel to confirm that the white was indeed wired to the grounding bar, so my wiring, like other reviews, went (from appliance to wall) black-black, white-red, green-white. Worked great immediately. My favorite function is the lock which can secure the touch controls from turning on OR from adjusting while you’re cooking. Very pleased with this item’s functionality and sleek look for the price.
UPDATE: Almost immediately, we got a heat mark that didn’t seem to wipe up. But I tried a Dawn+vinegar+baking soda rub on it and it came right up! Still great!
We like the cook-top. It came extremely well packed. It's pretty easy to use once you get used it and easy to clean.
I like the graduation of temp. I find simmer is easier and more accurate than any other electric cook-top I've used.
What's wrong is the "OFF" function. Touch or drag anything from a finger, cloth or pot across the off touch function and everything is shut off. No warning, just all elements off. At best you have to reset every element. At worst the thing you thought was cooking for 30 mins have been off for 30 mins. It's such a nuisance it's a borderline design flaw. It needs an override. That is why It lost a couple points.

WONT WORK!!!
After carefully installing this item and following all recommendations on the manufacturer's manual It is not working, not doing anything not even a beep, after a double/triple check, still nothing.... IM RETURNING THIS GARBAGE. WONT RECOMMEND AT ALLLL. DO NOT BUY THIS!
Does not get hot, take 2-3 times longer than other stoves to cook food.
This cooktop was really easy to install, and works flawlessly. I have had it for a couple of weeks and really like the touch controls. So much nicer than knobs that break, get dirt & grime trapped under them. I am super pleased with this cooktop. Make sure you measure your counter top opening. This one just barely covers the opening on the top and bottom sides.
