People with heart pacers or electronic health devices should be warned to check with providers before buying, installing and using this product because it may cause some devices to malfunction! Install was a snap, not requiring a technician if existing wires and a junction box is available.. Learning induction power and cooking was a chore because ordinary pots and pans will not heat. Induction cookware is required, but it is readily available and when applied works fine. Read the manual clear through and apply step by step for best results. Unit does not produce excessive heat at cook top, only in cookware.
I like that it’s black and easy to clean. I hoped having 5 burners meant more options to cook simultaneously but they’re quite small. It’s difficult to utilize even 3 burners unless you are using very small pots and pans. I dislike that it’s easy to turn the cooktop off or on if a pan slides over the power button which is placed closely to a burner or while wiping it clean. It is also loud when it turns on with the fan and while the burner is attaching to the pan magnetically. Overall I would have returned it but that would have meant I had to pay another $300 to an electrician for install so I decided to just keep it for now. I do not recommend this unless you don’t cook often and are just looking for something that is pretty
I am really liking this new stove the issue I am having is the lay out of the burners doesn't match the lay out on the glass. I am having to fish around for the right spot for the burner to accept that the pan is there for the induction to work.
I have been thinking about switching to induction for a while. When this was featured on Prime Day, I had to try it and so far I’m very impressed. Installation was a bit challenging, not the stoves fault, so it took a couple of hours when it should have been 30 minutes. Turned it on and was instantly impressed. It looks fantastic, is extremely easy to operate, and is fast to heat. There are several safety features built it that keep from accidentally turning on. Highly recommend this device as it seems very well made. This should also save on electricity. I did purchase the extended warranty but don’t think that I will need it.
The installation directions are a little confusing when it comes to the ground wire ( there isn't one). Called customer service and was informed that it is European and does not need one. (??) Therefore will not work in the U.S., YOU NEED A NEUTRAL WIRE, THIS ITEM HAS NONE. In the U.S. you need 2 hot wires a neutral and a ground. This item only comes with 2 hot wires and no way to connect a neutral or a ground.

Power button way too sensitive and placed in a bad spot. We’ve had he stovetop for about five months now. We are constantly accidentally turning off and on the stove top because the power button is in horrible place. Front left. If liquid spills on it, it turns off. Then you have to reset any burners you had on previously. It’s that sensitive.
It has been the source of much frustration.
Looks great and works well. Knocked off 1 star since operation doesn’t match the manual (no Obvious way to manually turn off individual burner i.e. turn down to ‘0’ or off). But it does turn off on its own from ‘1’ when nothing is no the burner. Works great otherwise.
We bought this for a mother-in-law suite addition to our home. We needed a thin cooktop as we were placing it directly above our oven and after much research realized that an induction was the way to go. We have moved into the suite as we are starting renovation on our home and are able to use this ourselves. We LOVE it!!!! Not only does it look great, it is a breeze to clean and I actually enjoy using it for cooking. This may very well be my favorite appliance in this little kitchen.
Ok I did a little research before buuying this. After going to home depos and home hardwares trying to test out what was going to not scratch and basically be a POS. After looking into a few different things I thought what the hell. its amazon. if it sucks i will return it. Got it shipped out via canada post-i was happy to see that it was in perfect order. my husband and I took the old cook top out and was pleased to see it was literally a matter of unplugging the old one and plugging this one in. It came with all the ends required! We hooked it up and were off to the races. It cooks great. Nice and steady heat. doesnt hit the temp and 'damper' down like many I looked at. This bad boy has my water boiling in 3 mins. or less. the ultra high option is a Great feature. Because I have next to zero patience the answer is yes- i have boiled over things like potatoes and pasta. and fortunately it is just a matter of lifting the pot and giving it a quick wipe. clean up with this thing is a total breeze. so happy my made the decision that I did to just wing it and order from amazon!
First, if you have a problem, the customer service # they supply, you get an answering machine. THEY DO NOT REPOND. Took us four time to get to them.
Next, the temperature settings are finickity. If you are on 9 and want to go to 5, it takes several attempts.
Last, if you have it on one setting for a slow warm etc. the burner goes on,off,on,off etc and if not careful the moisture is gone out of the pot and you have a burn. Still have not figured out the simmer setting and the timer.....well you can only hear it if you are standing over the cooktop.
