Did now turn out to be anything like the description on Amazon. It was not a black tempered glass top, it was stamped metal. It did not have termo-couple gas shut off for safety at all of the burners like the one described that we paid for. On the web site it shows a gas regulator that is necessary foe hook-up. That was not sent. Ends up causing all kinds of problems. Very disappointed to say the least
The first one I ordered came with missing caps for the burners, the gas hook up and the grate was broken. All the knobs were not able to be attached. 2nd one came and after paying to have it installed the right back burner would not stay one. Returning it also. Very disappointed and wasted money on an install
I got this on Amazon as I could not find this size cooktop anywhere else. The handyman installed it and it works great . It comes with a one year warranty .The glass surface is easy to clean and updates the kitchen .The perfect thing to update the kitchen. Thank you !
For under $300 this stove is great. Ignition takes a bit to get used to but once you learn it works great. Pressure valve was included but its a bit hidden on the side of the packaging. I read a review where someone said it wasn't included. If you're not careful looking for it you may throw it out mistakenly.
I like that the total thickness of the cooktop is only 2 inches from bottom face of glass top to the bottom of the unit. It gave me more room for the cabinet drawer below. It’s actually 1 inch thinner than my old Thermador cooktop.
As far as cleaning, it’s not as convenient as my old Thermador because there are more burner parts to assemble/disassemble. Because of this I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating. Bob

We'd looked at so many stores, even for used stove tops. I'd already had this in my cart. This is the best stove for us. We are making great use out of it. Easy clean up and we now have 5 burners. Ours broke down on 12/24. Also can be used outdooors withcylinders.
The reason I didn't give it four stars is because the right front burner is quirky. Usually hard to light, always requires extra long ignition time to get it to remain lighted. The rest work very well.
Replaced our metal top gas stove with this glass top. Install was really easy and it looks great. Cleaning the glass is much easier than our metal. Such a great price for this stove top!
