Bought this to replace an 40 year old gaggenau cooktop as a quick fix before doing kitchen remodeling. Connecting 1" gas regulator to 1" inlet nipple feel really loose and i had to heavily wrap it with yellow teflon tape. Setup was overall pretty easy.
The problem after installation was the large burner. The inner ring would not lit, only the outer ring. Is there a simple fix to this problem?
If not, I hate to disassemble everything and return the unit.

The main burner is the primary one we use, flame is weaker compare to our old one. How can i tell? it takes a long time for me to cook. I don't get much of the sizzle sound when trying to stir fry, so it became more of a simmering style of cooking.....
makes me look forward to remodeling kitchen now.

The main burner now has the same problem as the old one we replaced, the burner is taking forever to lit. We have to hold and press down the ignition for a long long time, and sometimes after its lit and cooking, the flame would randomly go out. I'm still waiting for the reply from customer service we contacted several weeks ago.

Contacted the manufacturer through email with a guy in HongKong. He gave me a few suggestions to move around stove cap to make sure the thermocouple touches the fire when igniting. Unfortunately I did all he suggested prior from the help of google and youtube. According to the rep, I have a bad unit. The large burner often times takes forever to stay lit and would randomly shut off by itself. They won't honor warranty because I had purchased this from a 3rd party on Amazon.
I took over a year to install this product because the build out took longer than than anticipated and when we finally tried to use this cooktop, it does not work. It will not light. I had a repairperson come double check the hook-up and no one can get this thing to work. I called the company and they said I am out of luck because the warranty is one year. A TOTAL BRICK - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
Looks good but fittings do not match description. No regulator. No 1/2" NPT inlet.
Bought this twice because the first one broke during install. First, there was no regulator included. Emailed seller and one was sent. The inlet has a flare fitting which seems welded because the plumber broke the connection trying to get it off. Ordered another one and same situation - no regulator and a welded flare fitting at the inlet.
To get this to work safely it needs exactly what's in the description - "1/2" npt inlet and regulator." Neither of these were present in the 2 cooktops I ordered.
Had this one for a few days and we've been having no trouble at all with it. Unlike our gold gas stove, all the knobs and burners work perfectly so that's already a big step forward for us. The modern design also compliments our kitchen so we have absolutely no complaints about it.
We bought this online, having not seen it in the shop but having heard some recommendations for this company and their products. We needed a small size for a small kitchen, and something that was easy to install. We ended up having an experienced friend put this in for us. Most of the time he spent, he had to refit the counter-top that he was inserting this into, as it was a little warped. Installing this product was the easiest part!
It looks really good! It cleans up well and really looks like we spent twice the $$ on it than we did. We can't believe the great price. We find it efficient and stands up well to daily use. I like the auto-gas shutoff safety feature. The knobs are a little loose, they are installed correctly but don't pull on them too much. Probably true of most cook-tops like this. We have had it for almost a year now, it was installed right after we purchased. Still works and looks like new. I am pleased it was so hassle free.

Bought this product in Feb 2017 and has just started to leak gas after a series of malfuctioning defects tothis product like inconsistent flames on burners and failing ignition switch etc.
Now looks like we have to replace this product altogether and potentially cut a new hole in countertop due to the odd size of the product.
Also it seems like the customer service for this product is very slow with a potential 24 hr wait for a callback.
This unit looks beautiful and fits perfect in my small kitchen! All flames work great and i found it to be extremely powerful. My only complaint is that the pans don't feel very secure due to the grates design. If you bump a handle during cooking the pan could easy tip off. But other than that I really do love it!
Great cook top, had no problems at all. Like the safety feature of each burner has a thermocouple if burner goes out, gas gets shut off. Some complain about the way the burners light, all that has to be done is hold the burner knob down a few seconds longer, so the thermocouple gets hot to stay open, this is normal,. Great feature most cook tops for not have.
