I bought the Gasland Chef model ES611TS. It is a great looking oven and the 3 meals I've cooked in it since Thursday have turned out perfect! However...there are so many things - little things that do not make sense or read correctly. There is supposed to be an ICON to turn the oven light on - doesn't show up on mine...there is no way to turn the oven light on while it's cooking and it's a pain that the mode of operation, temp, and cook time MUST be engaged or the oven does not run. If you do not set a timer - it will not turn on. Even to preheat one must set that damn timer! The tiny manual (16 pgs that relay install, mostly) that came with the oven does not tell one how to use the oven at all. There are no manuals out there and I called the company - they have no such manuals. It reads there is rear heat - is there an element back there? The lower element is beneath the oven floor - is the rear one also behind the wall? I don't think there is rear heat. Also when it reads grill I think that's supposed to be broil - if you look at the ICON. It's not self cleaning but very easy to wipe down - very. There are no instructions for using any of the special functions such as the rotisserie. It will be a learning curve for sure. Hopefully an accomplished cook can enlighten us more as to operation functions.
This oven only worked for about 30 mins and never came back on. What I really disliked is that everything is symbols no words that say bake, broil or temp control.
First of all a screw was missing on the terminal block, so had to use wire nuts for electrical connection. Can't get it to switch to Fahrenheit. Side wall shelf bracket was bent wouldn't latch to top knob. Tried to bend it back weld broke. Door doesn't seal properly, gasket is not seated in the channel . Their are no instructions on the rotisserie or how to install it or make it work. The cooking shelf is is not very substantial, unit only has 24 hr clock. Wish I hadn't bought it
oven works great, even cooks quicker. a little different from last oven but once you get used to settings, it does what an oven is supposed to do. quirks include you must set timer for oven to work and digital clock in military time. great oven for the price
My 80 year old mother ordered this oven a few months ago She seldom cooks and really just heats things up.
The thermostat has gone out on oven.
We cannot find a thermostat locally and we have tried repeated to reach Gasland. We call the number provided and Gasland does not allow you to hold. They say they will return our call in the order it was received. They do not return our call and we are unsure how we are going to obtain a replacement part!!
Very poor customer services up to this point.

After multiple phone calls we were finally able to connect with Gasland.
They were helpful after we were able to reach them
The correct part arrived, we had an electectrian install the part, put the oven back together, and in the wall.
So helpful once you reach them, but very difficult to reach.

This oven looked real nice and had great fit and finish. The 3-star rating comes from the fact that the instructions are impossible to read. Also, the oven has a light in it but no button on the outside to turn it off and on. For the price however an overall good value
We had to replace the original oven in our mid century home- most of the big brands were too big for the space - we ordered it and when it arrived size was equal to specs. This is a beautiful design and love the look. Only confusion was that the front is not see through- which we prefer but was not specified until we asked.
We used the rotisserie option and it works well.
I love the look of it. It heats up slow and the instructions that come with it are not much help. It has so many heat settings and doesn't tell you how to really use them. The light does not stay on and I have not found where you can turn it on so you can see to clean it. Still can't get the timer to work right it sets itself to 8.0 hours. It is like the timer only lets you use it when you are on certain heat settings
