You can't believe how expensive electric ovens are sold in bestbuy, walmart, etc. Outrageously expensive!!!!, I bought this oven to replace my old oven which had been used for years. purchased on Monday, oven arrived on Saturday. Not as fast as prime delivery, but I would say it's fast for a non-prime member like me. When I place order, didn't notice it would come with convection function. when I turn it on for the first time use, I found this function is great. Cuz my old did't has convection. Overall, I like it so far. Will keep this updated if problem appears.
This was a replacement for a 17 year old GE Profile cooktop. It fit perfectly into the existing countertop cutout. A design change that moved the gas supply from the left to the right side of the unit required the purchase of a flexible connector that bridged the gap. Other than that installation was easy. I don't understand the customer reviews on this item that indicate that the grates are too high or that there is insufficient heat to boil water. This unit generates extremely high heat, and very precise control, on all units. Very satisfied with the design, attractiveness and performance of this unit.
I've only had this oven for a month or so. Install was easy. I was replacing an old 24" inch, so the cabinet space was a match. Connected 3 wires, drove 4 screws, flipped a breaker, and I was back to cooking!

We purchased this a few months ago and have quickly learned to love induction cooking. All of the units features have worked flawlessly, clean up is easy, and we constantly get positive comments on the look of the unit in our kitchen. Although installation was easy for us since we were remodeling the kitchen, you should read the installation requirements to be sure this will work in your situation. I found those in the installation manual on a GE website.
A couple of examples that friends have noted would be problems for them include having 40 amp service available, having clearance 12" below the base of the unit, and having about 6" of "open" space from the front of the cabinet all the way to the cabinet floor. We do have a shelf under the unit but it was easy to cut out the front 6" or so to create this space. It does, though, limit the under counter storage just a little. The manual notes these clearances are necessary to provide enough airflow to keep the unit's electrical components cool, and I wonder if some of the "early failures" in some of the reviews might be related to overheating if you don't follow these guidelines. In any case, take a few minutes to think about the installation before you buy.
We ordered this cooktop from Dynamic deals and couldn't be happier. My wife loves the cooktop. It did arrive without the griddle, however after contacting Dynamic deals and letting them know they sent a griddle in a quick manner no questions asked. We had it installed by our gas company and am glad we did as it saved me a few trips to town to get parts we would need to install it properly to avoid the drawer under our cooktop. This thing can really put out some heat too, even the installer was impressed with this cooktop. As we've only had the cooktop a few weeks now I can't speak to its longevity but it does seem to be well made. I would recommend this cooktop to friends and family.

The basic problem with this unit that the heating is basically off by 75-100 degrees fahrenheit. We had this for a few months and are returning it to Amazon. It comes with a 2 year manufactures warranty which is useless since it is impossible to contact the company by phone or email. The do not return calls or answer emails. Also the product was lacking listed accessory's like oven pan and temperature probe. Also, another really bad feature is the clarity and brightness of the control panel - need a flashlight handy to view display. Needless to say this another China manufactured inferior knockoff. DOT PURHASE YOU WILL VERY DISSATISFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Setting the time is a forever thing. Due to power outages where we live we no longer bother to set the time. Also very hard to just turn on and use due to the child proof feature and the dial positions are very small and hard to read. The unit does work as advertised but my wife hate it and wants to replace it.
The GE PHP900 Induction Cooktop was installed without problems and has been in use for about 10 days. The response is very quick and perhaps has better control than a gas cooktop. I have put together a YouTube video describing the process of the removing the old cooktop and installing the new one. See https://youtu.be/UgC0pJ62Uuo Some people have noted than the cooking burners are difficult to see on the cooktop and indeed this is true. I have remedy for this. I purchased a kit of "Color Coding Labels", get the small ones about 1/4" in diameter. Yellow goes well with the black background. I placed a color code label on the sides and bottom area of each burner and about 3/4" away from the burner. Don't clean the cooktop surface with water or you will wash the dots away. Use the cleaning stuff that comes with the cooktop. Here is a video on how to use the color coding labels to make the burner outlines more visible.
